"unprinted" is an online magazine that offers content to make the daily lives of digital designers more enjoyable. I was involved in the project from the initial stage and was in charge of a series of designs, from developing the brand concept and the visual identity to designing the website.
I directed and created graphic assets such as thumbnails and illustrations for articles. With an eye toward ongoing content management, I built an illustration system that ensures consistent quality and brand consistency even when the creator changes.
"unprinted" features two categories: "Learning Articles" and "Feature Articles." Specifically, Learning Articles were the main content during the initial phase, and since they appeared frequently on the home screen, they played a significant role in shaping the brand’s first impression.
Therefore, I defined rules regarding the color palette, combinations of shapes, and drawing styles, and designed a visual system that maintains a consistent brand identity.
Additionally, since the learning articles are continuously added, I organized the defined rules and patterns into guidelines. This ensures that graphics can be produced and managed with consistent quality while maintaining the brand’s identity, even when the creators change.
